Snorkelling
Snorkelling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel, and usually swim fins. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods of time with relatively little effort. Snorkelers can see the beauty of the ocean and even can see fishes swimming around them.

Parasailing
Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail. The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender into the air. If the boat is powerful enough, two or three people can parasail behind it at the same time. The parascender has little or no control over the parachute.
During parasailing at Manukan Island, you can see the islands from a bird's eye view. As high as 150 feet in the air, you can not only experience another view of the islands, but also see corals like otherwise not possible.Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail. How to reach Manukan Island:
As you arrive, get your ticket from the first building on your right. Decide which island you want to go – Gaya, Manukan, Sapi or Mamutik (they have catalogue with pictures of island at the counter). Island hopping with choice of 2 or 3 islands are possible. We paid for single island, Manukan - cost us RM17.00 per person. Do factor in another RM6.00 per person for terminal fee, payable at counter 2. Return time is also flexible – just ask staff at the counter for pick up time and make advance arrangement. To Manukan island, the journey took merely 15 minutes. The boatman dropped us at the wooden jetty, off the boat we were greeted by friendly fishes and clear aquamarine water.
After paying RM3.00 per person for marine conservation fee, we walked around the island. Manukan, being the 2nd largest island after Gaya Island is not that huge either, it is only about 0.5 square kilometers.
The main departing point to the Manukan Island is Jesselton Point.
